A 1925 SS Byron arrival in New York carrying a passenger named Panagiotis Jeannopoulos. Because Takis’s full birth name is Panagiotis Lazare, this is most likely Takis on an earlier crossing — eight years before the 1933 SS Bremen arrival that we have a direct manifest for.
